Happy 9th Birthday Jake!!!

It has been over THREE WEEKS!!!  What have we been doing this whole time?  Well...

The boys have:
built a Thomas track using all the pieces
mowed the lawn
trimmed
mowed the neighbor's lawn (these are not huge lawns, mind you)
trimmed and raked
weeded
swept the drive
swept the stoop
watered
made breakfast
cleaned up breakfast
wiped down table
cleaned up gomi bins
washed pantry floor
did laundry
got out bikes
packed up for the beach
started some UGLY PIE!

All before noon today...

What is our week like?

Summer school camp with kayaking, swimming and beach fun
three lunches
English lessons
grocery shopping
more English lessons
soccer practice
coaching soccer
back-to-back swimming lessons
dinner with a friend who is leaving
.....
And this is just Monday ...

The most important thing we did today was finish the Ugly Pie in order to say, 

Happy 9th Birthday Jake!!!

Stefan wanted to say, "I miss you and hope to see you SOON!!!"

Dougie squealed a big, "Happy Birthday!"

Ian sang "Happy Earth-day to You"

We miss you too, Jake!  Nine years old!  I remember you when you were nine HOURS old.  We love you more than words can say.  - Uncle Eric was so glad to see you in July.  You are missed and your birthday presents should be on their way!!!
