Election Day - Japanese Style

‎"Nobody will ever deprive the American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves, and the only way they could do this is by not voting."
Franklin D. Roosevelt

Living in Japan has its advantages - like with deadlines.  Being, basically, a day ahead of the rest of America, I have a extra day to shop sales, I don't have to get up at midnight for Cyber Monday (in fact, it is normal wakies time here!), forgot to renew your insurance?  No biggie - have an extra day.

Forgot to vote?!?  Oh, yeah - no dice.  In fact, our usual "advantage" becomes the disadvantage.  MY November 6th postmark happens on your 5th.  So, if you are reading this - you have one more day to make your final decisions.

Get out there and vote!
